LEARNING COMMUNITY SUPPORT
The Academic
Learning Centers provide tutoring support for the many
activities of the program. Each Learning Community has a tutor
assigned to the paired courses. These tutors:
- support the subject content
- provide a positive role model for the student
The tutoring hours for the Learning Community are included in
this website and publicized through classroom visits and the
professors' syllabi. If the tutoring hours of the learning Community
tutor are not convenient, students are welcome to work with
non-Learning Community tutors whose hours may be more desirable.
In addition, we urge students to also visit the ALC for all
their subjects, not just for those in the Learning Community.
