MANUFACTURING TOOLKIT


The Manufacturing Career Cluster prepares students for a diverse set of occupations in planning, managing and the processing of materials into final products. Support professions such as production planning and logistics are also grouped under this Career Cluster.

The purpose of this Toolkit is to provide teachers and administrators current resources, tools, strategies and curricula to enhance New Jersey CTE programs in the Manufacturing Career Cluster.

Cluster Knowledge and Skills Statements
Nationally developed statements outlining academic standards for secondary students, knowledge and skills applicable to careers in this cluster, and example products or activities that may indicate proficiency.

New Jersey Core Curriculum Standard 9.4
Standard 9.4 describes knowledge and skills that prepare students for postsecondary education, training and employment in a chosen career pathway and applies only to high school students enrolled in career and technical education programs.

 

Program of Study (Sample)
Nationally developed Program of Study recommending a sequence of coursework for learners on this career path. It is intended to serve as a guide for States and Institutions to customize based on regional standards and graduation requirements.
